Nigerian Law Resources provides law research consultancy services on various aspects of law in Nigeria. The Principal Consultant of Nigerian Law Resources, Leesi Ebenezer Mitee, holds a Master of Laws degree (LLM) of the University of Huddersfield in the United Kingdom; Barrister-at-Law  professional legal practice certificate (BL) of the Nigerian Law School; Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) and Higher National Diploma in Town Planning (also known as Urban & Regional Planning or City Planning) of the Rivers State University of Science & Technology, Nigeria. He is Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, a Principal Lecturer in Law, and an author of books on Nigerian law with about twenty years of relevant experience in law practice and research.

He is a member of The Internet Society (USA), Society of Legal Scholars (United Kingdom), Association of Law Teachers (United Kingdom), Statute Law Society (United Kingdom), and Nigerian Bar Association (Nigeria).

In 1998, he was hired by the United Nations as the National Consultant (Nigeria) for the Project RAF/97/025 - Capacity Development for Social Reconciliation. Its goal was to research and analyse legislation on Arms (Weapons) Control in Mali, Cameroon, Nigeria, and Ghana with a view to assessing the juridical foundations of the proposed West Africa Moratorium on Small Arms (light weapons). Based on the findings and recommendations of the Project, on 30 October 1998, sixteen states in West Africa signed the Moratorium, thereby agreeing to ban the production, import, and export of small arms for a three-year trial period, which enabled the United Nations to commence its implementation.
